It is a memorable day

We have impregnated today.

There are books many in his name

Containing dough - stuff provided by him

Some in Hindi, Some in Urdu,

Some in Gurumukhi and some produced in English too

None as authentic as this

My First son born was on 19^th May,

So was the First full fledged book,

19^th May is a memorable day for me

So is 24^th January…..

There are scores of books

With dough – stuff provided by him

Some in Hindi, some in Urdu,

Parts produced in

Gurumukhi, Some in English too

None so authentic

Books, as an authoritative head

Minister, Ambassador or M.P.

Parts and bits containing labour of his sweat

Were not so authentic.

This is where he spent his precious time

Burnt mid-night oil

Worked with zeal

his First--real babe

What a joyful day!

So Gracious!

Wish more to follow this babe

My heart leaps with Pride-

My birthday is this memorable day!

Swaying and jumping with joy-

I shriek with a new-born Pride-
