ACHIEVING PEACE

 

Holding on to opinions with aggression,

No matter how noble the cause,

Will never achieve understanding,

As every opinion has flaws.

 

Thinking more about love and compassion,

And less about who is "right",

Will achieve more peace throughout the world,

Than mean acts done out of spite.

 

Tolerating the views of others,

No matter how much they offend,

Will give the world a better chance,

To have peace across the land.
